Different culture
Apparently, what they said are true. The working arena is totally different from your uni life. Working in a hospital just shows no different as working in an office. You can actually breathe but you feel like you are damn suffocating when tonnes of gossips keep repeating and spreading wherever you go. If gossip were food, I think many people would be overweight. The people here are a bit selfish perhaps. I wonder how they think. Does talking people 's bad things can upgrade their own standard? Sometimes, I’d rather have an enemy who admits that they hate me, instead of a friend who secretly put me down. I used to think it that way, however when i came to Kulim, it’s time to re-think again. I can feel that it's even more hurt when someone is too honest to badmouth you in front of others. Is it so-called 'frontstab'? A small matter, a small mistaken, can be spread from Kulim to Alor star. A small bang on rear bumper can be a well-known issue in hospital. People's mistakes always be the lunch time topics. Seriously,in Kulim, it's not easy to find a true friend that willing to protest for you. Seldom people will keep anything as a secret, as long as it can make people laugh, it will be a popular gossip to be shared. The setting here just makes me more treasure the people who stayed with me at times when I'm down, and try to forget the ones who betrayed you and stabbed you behind your back.
"When your up, your friends know who you are.
When you're down, you know who your friends are."
This quote is so so true. Frankly speaking, those friends only can be found in secondary school.
